Jacqui holds a Master of Science Degree in Management and a Certificate of Public Management both from Stanford University. Her first degree was a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting major) from the University of Nairobi. A certified public accountant, she is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya.
Jacqui joined the Hospital in March 2011. Prior to this she worked in various capacities at the Institute of Directors (Kenya), the Centre for African Family Studies and Deloitte, including heading the former two institutions.
Solomon is a holder of Master in Business Administration (Finance Option) from Nairobi University and Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) from Kenyatta University. He is a CPA (K), CPS (K) and Chartered Accountant (CIMA).
He joined Nairobi Hospital in October 2012. Prior to this he had worked in AAR Kenya Limited, Unga Holdings Limited and Bestfoods Kenya Limited in Various capacities in Finance Department.
The Finance Department incorporates the Finance function, Procurement and Stores and ICT. The overall function of financial management, which includes budgeting, general accounting, collections and disbursements, is geared towards sustaining and improving The Hospital’s financial performance as a provider of quality health services.
Finance is divided into strategic business units for better management and business focus:
- Nursing Division
- Accident and Emergency Centre, Clinics and Laboratory (ACL)
- Pharmacy, Physical Medicine and Radiology (PPR)
- Administration Services
- Property and Insurance
- Treasury and Finance
- ADT and Credit Control
