The Nairobi Hospital invests 23 million shillings in oxygen plant

23 Oct 08  The hospital invested 23 million in the state of the art A5450 HM oxygen plant. The hospital can now produce and supply its own oxygen after the equipment.

It was recently commissioned by AIRSEP and the staff were put through two months of training. The oxygen plant has eliminated the expense, administrative work and inconveniences that are associated with the purchased oxygen.

Operation costs have also been significantly reduced and we are bottling our oxygen into cylinders which can be used as backups.
