13 Jun 08 Dr. Ann Tibaijuka, the executive director UN habitat and director general UN office, Nairobi, cut a tape and unveiled a plaque to officially open the 145 million shilling south wing at The Nairobi Hospital. The south wing is a three story building located on the left of the hospital entrance. It consists of 32 en-suite rooms each having the latest décor, bunked seats next to the window and a balcony. There is also a common lounge where patients can interact, a doctor’s office, a nurse station and staff rest centre and waiting room. It is thus patient friendly and has a peaceful atmosphere to accelerate service delivery. |
