Dr. Njenga has been in practice for 18 years and holds a MMed from the University of Nairobi. She also has certificates in Social Medicine and Medical Anthropology from Harvard University and Advanced Course for Post Graduate Doctors in Endocrinology from the University of New Castle Upon Tyne-UK. She has formerly worked at Kenyatta National Hospital, Nakuru Provincial Hospital and Joslin Diabetes Centre in USA.

She is a member of the American Diabetes Association, Kenya Medical Association and Kenya Association of Physicians, executive member of the Kenya Diabetes Association, Chairman of Kenya Diabetes Study Group, Former Vice Chairman of the Kenya Medical Women Association, Chairman, Diabetes Management & Information Centre and a former member of the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.

Prof. Okello has been in practice for 38 years and he holds an MBBS from Calcutta India, MD from the University of Nairobi, MRCP from the University of Dublin Ireland, DTM & H from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, FRCP from Dublin and CBiol and MIBiol from London. He has worked at the University of Nairobi as a Professor of Medicine, Chairman Department of Medicine and Dean in the Faculty of Medicine.

He has also served as the Director of Medical Services in Kenya, Secretary General and later Executive Director of the African Academy of Sciences, Secretary General Network of Science Academy in Africa and Executive Secretary Network of African Scientific Organisation. He is a fellow of the African Academy of Sciences and fellow of the Third World Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Aluoch is a Respiratory Physician based at the Nairobi Hospital. He holds a Degree in Medicine from Makerere University, MRCP UK, DTCD from the University of Cardiff, Wales and Dip. Epid from Prague. He has worked with the Ministry of Health in various capacities including Deputy Director of Communicable Diseases Control and also In-charge of National Tuberculosis Program.

He has worked as a chest medicine consultant in Kenyatta National Hospital and honorary lecturer at the University of Nairobi. He has also worked with KEMRI as a Senior Research Officer, Director of Respiratory Diseases Research Centre and consultant physician at the Infectious Diseases Hospital.

He has formerly served as a WHO consultant and is currently a member of the expert committee WHO TB Control in Africa. He has served in several authorities in the country including KEMRI Board of Management, National Hospital Insurance Fund, Nairobi City Council Commission and the Nairobi Area Health Authority.
