Anderson medical centre was opened in July 2005 and is named after Mr. Rudolf Anderson who was one of the nine founders of The Nairobi Hospital. This is an out-patient facility that comprises of various specialist clinics.
Services Offered The clinic caters for the whole family and is for clients requiring out patient follow up. Staff attending clients include a consultant doctor, dietician, diabetes nurses and a registered nurse.
The clinic offers follow up care for diabetic patients, conducts blood sugar monitoring, diet counseling and holistic management of the client’s health.
This clinic is managed by an obstetrician/gynaecologist and experienced mid-wives. It caters for expectant parents whereby the mother and baby’s health is monitored, maintained and optimized to ensure a healthy pregnancy, safe delivery and post delivery period.
This is a special clinic run by mid-wives whose main objective is to teach expectant parents appropriate exercises that promote and enhance their well being during antenatal, intra partal and postnatal periods.
This is a follow up clinic for patients suffering from respiratory conditions. They are managed by consulting doctors and nurses under the KAPTLD programme.
The centre has a well equipped and conveniently situated pharmacy with a wide range of drugs available for treatment of conditions at affordable cost
This clinic is run every third Thursday of the month and facilitates :
- The teaching of self breast examination,
- Assessing the BMI,
- Counseling on diet,
- Physiotherapy exercises for breast firming

This is a friendly baby clinic that targets children between 0-5 years. The child’s growth and development is assessed and appropriate immunization and health information given.
- Travel and Immunization Clinic
Travel vaccines and other disease preventing vaccines are offered in this clinic per specific requirements.• Chemotherapy: A special unit that facilitates administration of chemotherapy by an oncologist and a nurse on an out patient basis in a supportive environment.
