There is a florist’s shop situated opposite the front door of the Hospital where cards, gifts or flowers can be purchased. They are open Monday to Saturday from 8.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. On Sunday’s they are open at 9.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. |

The
League of Friends The Nairobi Hospital League of Friends is a registered Charity made up of a small group consisting of voluntary members. The League of Friends runs a trolley service and various items that patients might require are available for purchase. They organize various events to raise funds to buy specific items to improve patients’ comfort. |

Red Cross Shop There is a Red Cross Shop situated on the ground floor of the Hospital opposite the Matron’s office, which supplies toiletries, and a variety of other items including newspapers and magazines. It is open Monday to Friday between 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. and Saturdays, 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. |

Coffee Shop This is situated on the ground floor of the Hospital. It serves snacks and drinks and is open everyday from 7.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. including public holidays. Dietetics / Diet Therapy A full time dietetic service is available for both in-patients and outpatients. Food is one of the factors used to aid in quick recovery from illness. While admitted, our dietician may visit you to discuss your dietary needs and your diet at home to aid in recovery and/or manage your illness. We also offer nutritional counseling, and education on an out-patient basis through our diet clinic. Patients are seen by appointment Monday to Friday from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. Surgical Stores If you need to buy bandages, cotton wool e.t.c these can be purchased from the surgical stores in the Central stores situated at the back of the Hospital. Diabetic Clinic This is a free service available to both our admitted patients and outpatients. The objectives of the clinic are to educate and provide information in order to prevent diabetics and to provide advice and information on the effective management of diabetes Home Nursing Services |

Tuberculosis (TB) Clinic This is a free service to patients who are on TB drugs. Advise on care and diet, information on TB and TB drugs as well as support and encouragement is given by the nurses running the clinic. The clinic is run at the Accident and Emergency centre. |

Stroke Support Group | |
