MAC Current ChairmanThe Medical Advisory Committee is the main body in the Nairobi Hospital that is charged with promotion and provision of efficient services, improvement and maintenance of high standards of medical care as well as enhancing and maintaining the reputation of the hospital.

Among its key responsibilities is to interview and recommend applications for admitting rights as well as withdrawing or suspending admitting rights to doctors due to certain reasons. The MAC also implements rules and guidelines that are followed in the Hospital’s medical practice.

Its membership is drawn from all divisions of medical specializations in the hospital which include division of medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, anaesthesia, and paediatrics. Currently, there are over four hundred admitting doctors categorized under these divisions.
