He has worked in various medical capacities at the Kenyatta National Hospital for 18 years. He has also worked with St. Bartholomew's Hospital and Homerton Hospital both in London. Currently he is a Honorary Lecturer at the University of Nairobi's Department of Medicine and the Secretary of the Gastroenterology Society of Kenya.
