Neurology Clinic
Neurology involves the study of the nervous system. This includes the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. It is important to note that pain is always generated by abnormal responses in nerve fibres. Neurologists attend to patients with different pain problems especially those affecting the head, neck and back. Their skills are focused on treating by either physical means or by the skilful use of medications, there are no operation procedures conducted in neurology.
The Neurology clinic provides comprehensive consultation, evaluation and treatment of neurological disorders which include:- Stroke and other cerebrovascular disease
- Epilepsy
- Memory Disorders, including Alzheimer's disease
- Movement Disorders including Parkinson's disease and Tremor
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Neuromuscular Disorders including ALS, Myasthenia Gravis, Muscular Dystrophy, Acute and Chronic Neuropathy

The Neurology Clinic, in consultation with the radiology department offers quality testing facilities like CT-Scan, MRI, EEG and EMG.
This clinic is held on Thursday mornings 8am - 1pm.
